::on haiti::

like everyone, we are totally shocked about the quake in haiti, and are concerned about the situation on the ground there.  as someone that has lived in earthquake country since i was born, earthquake relief is a tender spot for me.  we have had big quakes here before, but nothing like the devastation haiti is facing:: the situation was pretty desperate before, and now it is a total disaster.
